After several trials, CO.PRO.SEM.EL SRL has launched its new range of inoculated seeds.
WHAT ARE THEY?
Inoculated seeds have a casing that provides the plant with protection and nutrients, and defends it against pathogens in its early stages of development. Turfgrass maintenance personnel know all too well that this is the most crucial stage for producing healthy, vigorous turfgrass.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Around the seed there is an active material comprising 2 beneficial fungi and an inactive material made of calcium carbonate.
The beneficial fungi around the inoculated seed comprise:
– MYCORRHIZA (strengthening the plant’s immune system)
– TRICHODERMA (counteracting all fungi harmful to the plant)
Meanwhile, the calcium carbonate adjusts the acidity of the soil, increasing the pH (because calcium carbonate is an alkaline).
