A turfgrass seed mix featuring varieties of Cynodon dactylon enhanced to produce very dense lawns, characterized by fine leaves and a tolerance for low mowing (as low as 10-12 mm).
It colonizes soil quickly and aggressively, completing strongly with weeds.
Excellent performance under heavy trampling and machinery stress in general.
This seed mix does not require irrigation during the summer or even in drier weather conditions. Irrigation is only required during the initial stage to enable rapid, even germination and ground coverage (approximately 30 days).
Its biomass production is very low, around a quarter of that of Lolium perenne, and it requires next to no maintenance.
The STRONG SEED MIX can be used for freshly seeding training grounds or turfgrass exposed to full sun with heavy trampling (extensive areas, campsites, parking lots), ideal for producing sod and for equestrian grounds.
It retains its glossy color throughout spring, summer and autumn, with a straw-like color when dormant during the winter (northern Italy). Excellent regrowth in the spring. Suitable for reseeding with Lolium perenne or tall fescue for green, high-performance turfgrass all year round.
