EXOTIC BIRDS
Sunda zebra finches, Bengali finches and Gouldian finches The term exotic birds refers to a wide range of small bird species largely within the Ploceidae family. They are native to Africa, Asia and Australia. For many of these species, domestication has led to an endless array of ancestral color mutations. An exemplar of exotic birds is the Gouldian finch, also known as rainbow finch owing to its bright, multicolored plumage.
